Island Bath
A renovation of the existing main bath in a classic mid-century modern bungalow.

To maximize the existing footprint, most of the plumbing was wall-mounted, cabinetry and storage was recessed into the walls. The original bath was quite dark, in the new space we added numerous pot-lights as well as recessed LED lighting built into the mirror.
The clients wanted both a shower and soaking tub. We were able to achieve both while keeping the space open, minimal and visually pleasing.
The finishes were in keeping with the existing mid-century aesthetic and carried the teak wood, gold accents and white and grey colour palette that are found elsewhere in the home.
