Wendover Renovation + Addition
This century-old home has been thoughtfully renovated and expanded with a modern rear addition that brings new life and much-needed space to the original brick house.
The addition adds a new principal bedroom and ensuite on the second floor, an expanded kitchen and back entry on the ground floor, and a flexible office/guest suite in the taller basement.
Upgrades throughout the existing house include new insulation, repairs, finishes, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and millwork, creating a warm, bright, open-concept ground floor with strong connections to the newly landscaped backyard.
Carefully composed openings, canopies, screens, and cladding bring generous light into the interiors, add shade and cover where it matters, and give the new structure a clean and minimal form that complements the traditional brick house.
Inside, warm old-world textures, rustic colours, and natural finishes shape an inviting interior of off-white walls and cabinetry, warm woods, and funky patterned tile with depth and character.
