Master Bedroom Renovation

 

A complete renovation of the master bedroom and ensuite bath in a 100 year-old home in Alta Vista.  The new ensuite includes a full bath as well as a sauna and access to natural light.

 

To get as much out of the bathroom footprint as possible, wall-mounted faucets and undermount sinks were used at the vanity to minimize depth.  Despite it's shallow size, the cabinet boasts ample storage for two users.

 

A custom glass shower enclosure helps to expand and light the bath circulation.

 

The sauna, finished in clear red western cedar panelling and benches, provides a warm oasis during the cold winter months.

 

The master bedroom was reorganized with new cabinets adjacent the bed, exercise area and entertainment area.
